EDITORIAL DESIGN | PRINT | HAND-LETTERING
I was tasked with creating a pilot version of a magazine according to a specific magazine media kit while making sure to practice strong layout and production design techniques. The final design featured hand-lettered type, bold pastels, and bright photos. Daze is a magazine designed to inspire entrepreneurial women in business, highlighting women leading in various industries and discussing important topics.
Daze was inspired by Jaclyn Johnson, the founder of Create & Cultivate and author of Work Party. One of my favorite parts of this project was getting to connect with women I admire. Special thanks to Jaclyn and Julia Engel (founder of Gal Meets Glam, featured on the cover and feature spread) for providing me with amazing photos to use for Daze.
